All – Reminder – if you were fitted for a villager costume, approved – and had it labeled with your name already – you don’t need to bring in the following items – however - IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A VILLAGER DRESS from either Ms. Erin or the costumer, then YOU need to provide your own villager dress – please see below.

Villager Costumes · Pants (not jeans) with socks over top · Rope Belts · Colorful button down shirts · Caps (not baseball) · Earthy-colored vests · Dress shoes (loafers or tied – no sneakers) · Skirts – long or mid-calf length. · Peasant-like blouses · Aprons · Bonnets – Shoes can be penny loafers or lace up shoes or boots that look period-like to the 1750s. Girls can wear character shoes or ballet slippers. Ms. Erin Even if you are not a villager or already have a costume, please bring in some of these items (labeled with your name) so we can best costume folks. I am going through my bin of costumes and will supply some items. At this point, don't go out and buy anything for a villager costume, but do raid your closets, your grandparent's closets, your neighbors, etc... Mr. Todd

See you all there!!!!
Bring in props if you have them so we can start using them. Lots of great news to share about the set!!! Go over those lines and lyrics. Best, Mr. Todd Hi everyone - attached is the order form for pre-ticket sales for Beauty and the Beast. I need to get the order forms back asap. Every student in the play (tech crew included) is entitled to receive 4 free tickets. You must give me an order form indicating which performances you want to use your 4 tickets for as we need to know exactly how many people are attending each show due to fire safety rules.
As long as I can get volunteers to help, tickets will be sold during lunch the week before the show, but the price will remain the same at $7.00 per ticket. There will not be any discount tickets this year, as the price has been dropped from $10 to $7. If you can volunteer to sell tickets during lunch, on the 20th and 21st or during the week of the 24th, please email me directly. Please send in your order forms in an envelope marked tickets. My daughter, Katie McCauley is in stage crew and the order forms can be given directly to her or to Todd or Erin at rehearsal. All checks should be made out to Ellicott Mills PTA. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks so much! Kim McCauley The show is looking great. We have time to polish and tweak, but many things need to happen.
1. Memorize those lines. I have some of your scripts that were left behind. 2. Bring in those prop items if you have them. We will want to work with them during rehearsals as soon as possible. 3. If anyone has fancy dining room chair covers that we could borrow, please bring those in 4. Still need a pick-up truck and some brawn to move some set items that we will be borrowing from local high schools. PLEASE: I need the truck and the brawn. I am having some old-age symptoms and my body is not cooperating to lift and haul. Best, to all of you, Mr. T Hi,
Just a reminder that we have rehearsal this week until 6pm. We plan to run the show, polishing numbers and scenes. Please, everyone be there. And learn those lyrics! Parents - - sell ad space in the Playbill - - see previous e-mail. Parents - - help us with props. Parents - - I need some folks with pick-up trucks to move some set items in the near future, and will need strong bodies to help with our stage set-up and break-down. Don't be bashful. :) Thanks, Mr. Todd |
