Here is the remaining schedule. We do not have rehearsal this Monday, but do on Thursday and Friday. Rehearsals will start going to 6pm. As we start to add sets and what-not, I will need more parents to help us clean up and put stuff away.

Wow....
Wow, because... we really are in good shape at this time in the production. We have staged all the numbers, but the Finale and 2 short scenes. Some of the numbers look great; some need some polish, but we have time to do all that. Many of you are getting into character, developing interesting accents, faces, poses and freezes - - keep it up and give me MORE. And some of you are memorizing the lines and lyrics. I need everyone to memorize. Please be "off book" by March 7th. Starting next week, no scripts on stage. We will have someone be "on book" to give you your lines if needed. Wow, because... we are going to have great costumes and props. The costumer will be there next Friday, 2/28 to fit actors. It is VITAL that you be there for at least 45 minutes so we may get you fit. We are paying this woman, who is a professionals costumer. We will be making a few of our costumes, and student actors will need to provide certain costume pieces like pants, shirts, shoes, leotards, etc... More on this costuming at the next parent meeting! - - Tentative Date: Friday, February 28th at 5:30pm. WOW, because... we are going to have awesome sets and props. Mr. Bill and his team having been creating wonderful items, still in process, but they will be grand. We will need to gather some other props, and I would love for a parent to be Prop Master or Prop Mistress. Any volunteers? That parent could work with 1 or 2 stage crew members. Wow, because... I am sorry that some people are not showing up to all the rehearsal. The other directors and I need you there to see how it is all fitting together and how we may stage you or give you additional direction. The other cast members need you there because they are counting on you to dance and act with. Please, please, please, besides sickness, please try to be there 100%. I know that may be hard for some of you to do, but please try to make arrangements. Please be present in person and on stage. WOW, because... this is going to be a great show! We are on for Thursday and Friday. All cast and crew until 5:30pm. I need the Beast, Belle and Gaston to stay until 6pm on Thursday. Will need most of the enchanted objects with lines, Beast and Belle to stay until 6pm on Friday as well. On schedule is to run all the numbers thus far - - cleaning them up. And then to finish working on the Battle scene at the castle and the finale. ALSO - - bring your t-shirt order forms and checks for the t-shirts. Checks made out to EMMS PTA. Also – several families have not yet paid the $100 registration fee for being in the drama production. Thanks! Erin We do have rehearsal on Monday for the cast. We do not need crew. The goal is to try to run almost everything we have so that we start to get use to the flow of the show. I call this SHOW FLOW. This will also help us remember moves, staging, etc. SO PLEASE be there.
If we are using the stage, we will need parental help at the end rehearsal to reset the stage and put back the WALL. Please come and bring your muscles. Many hand... Also bring your checks tomorrow!!! And bring your upbeat attitudes. This is a hard show to stage and choreograph, and we have done the hardest parts. The best is yet to come. We will also have information about t-shirts. This is a great way for kids to promote the show and build our camaraderie. And after tomorrow, please start to memorize all songs and line. We will start using the performance music CDs at the beginning of March, if not sooner. We will distribute the performance CD to students at the end of February so they can practice with this music.
