Hello Cast and Crew - Attached is the song list for the show with each students name marked with an X if they are in that song. Moving forward, we will be announcing who is needed at each rehearsal at least two days prior to each rehearsal referencing this list. PLEASE watch your emails for all updates or you may come one day when you are not needed. Please keep attached list handy, too!
Below is broken down between Crew, Ensemble, and Leads. We will mention smaller speaking parts specifically if we need you to be at rehearsal that day or call: ALL THOSE WITH DIALOG as stated below. Saturday, October 29th Schedule: Crew: 10:00AM - 1:00PM ALL CREW CALLED Ensemble: 10-11:15AM Entire Cast - Arabian Nights 11:15-12:00PM ONLY: A Whole New World, and Primary Dancers and Gymnasts (column c) 12:00-1:00PM ONLY: BOAK If you are ever not needed at an “in between time” please remain at the school until needed. For example, if you are in Arabian Nights and BOAK but NOT in A Whole New World on Saturday- please stay at the school entire time on Saturday. Please do not leave and come back. It will delay our start times too much. Leads: (and for Saturday - those with any dialog) 10:00AM - 1:00PM: ANYONE with any DIALOG - Please stay entire time for blocking work. NOTE: There won’t be many times when LEADS (Genie, Aladdin, Jasmine, Iago, Jafar, Sultan, Babkak, Omar, Kassim are NOT called - so be prepared to attend all rehearsals on the schedule. We will certainly try to give you guys some time off but assume you should come unless we mention we do not need you. PARENTS: There has been some confusion with the schedule over the next few weeks because of school closings etc. so here is the schedule below through November. (We may add some others for leads only if needed) Saturday, October 29th Monday, October 31st (LEADS ONLY) Saturday, November 5th Thursday, November 10th Saturday, November 12th Tuesday, November 15th Saturday, November 19th Tuesday, November 22nd Monday, November 28th Tuesday, November 29th Hope the above helps clarify any confusion. Thanks to all and we will see everyone at 10:00AM on Saturday! Ms. Robyn

Please find attached the cast and crew list for the EMMS production of Aladdin! We had a huge amount of talented students audition. Thank you all for all your hard work and dedication to the audition process.
The directorial team had some very tough decisions to make, as we could have cast the show a few different ways, but we felt this list represents the best choices which will make our show great. We hope to give all students a chance to shine in songs and dances. This will be a spectacular and exotic production filled with mystery, chase scenes, dancing and fun. It is our WISH to allow students to grow in their talents, learn new skills, gain a greater understanding about theatre as a literary work AND to have fun. I know that many students will be thrilled with their roles/parts, while others may be disappointed. Unfortunately, that disappointment is part of being an actor. As an actor, I have been greatly disappointed in not getting a role I really wanted. I get it. And that disappointment is similar to not getting placed on a sports team, dance troupe or the like. Hopefully, we can turn that disappointment around as we all work together on this show. The show will be great. And we will all work hard, laugh, build friendships and share an incredible journey together. Please note that it is not appropriate for parents or students to e-mail me about any disappointments or questions about the casting decisions. While I had a large role in the casting decisions, we had a team of casting professions who helped select the cast list. If a student wishes to know how they could improve their auditions, I'd be happy to briefly chat with them during one of our rehearsals. Thank you for your understanding about this. There are a few roles that are listed as TBD (to be determined). These parts will be assigned during the rehearsal process. These parts are smaller in nature, but very important to the show. As the saying goes, there are no small parts, just small actors. For crew, we have quite a few of you on the waiting list. ALL crew should come to the read thru on October 18th. We will have a short crew meeting before the read-thru to determine roles. We only need about 15-18 people to run the show, but we do need people to work on other aspects such as costuming, set design and painting. There were about a dozen students who did NOT come to auditions. If you did not come to auditions and did NOT communicate with us, we did not put you on the casting list. We assumed you were no longer interested in being a part of the production, as it was clearly stated that you needed to come to the auditions to be included in the show. AND FINALLY... all cast and crew should come to the read-thru/sing-thru on Tuesday, October 18th from 6-8pm. Please bring a 3-ringed binder with you, if possible. We will be handing out scripts, script sides and some music. All materials should be placed into that binder. To save paper, we will NOT be printing out entire scripts and scores for the entire cast and crew, but will provide the sections of the script and score that they will need. The script and score are available online via the weebly. Here's to being green! That is all for now. All my best as we journey to Agrabah, Mr. Todd Hello,
