The show is looking great. We still have a few things to work out, but all will be fixed on Wednesday. We will have a Preview Performance audience on Thursday, which is exciting! I am anticipating 50-100 people, which is a nice preview house.
Please spend an hour today going over your roles, both actors and crews. Visualize yourself doing various parts of the show. And rest. And make sure your parents vote! Actors, please bring a water bottle to each performance marked with your name on it. You can refill them using the water fountain in the cafeteria before each show, but you need to drink water when you can during the show. Please mark your name with a Sharpie. It is imperative that all cast and crew be present for the rest of the schedule for the entire time, and being at the school by 5pm on Saturday and by NOON on Sunday. All these items should be stored in a sealable plastic baggie with your name printed on it with a Sharpie. Make-up kits or cases are fine, as well, if you have one. The Scarecrow, Tinman, Toto, Lion and Witch will not need to purchase the above, except for lipstick and eyeliner, as we are getting some specialty make-up to create your look. We will experiment with this on Sunday or Monday. Please do bring your own lipstick and eyeliner. Full make-up will be needed for our last dress rehearsal/preview performance on Thursday, April 28th. Please consider bringing some babie wipes, as this does gently take off stage make-up and helps to get make-up off your hands and surfaces. Hair:
Hello everyone! The show is getting close and I’m sure everyone is excited for it.
Tickets will be going on sale next week during all lunches. Each member of the cast and crew will receive 4 free tickets to the show(s) of their choice. Unfortunately, due to limited seating, we need to have a best guess of what days you plan on attending so that we can give you tickets for those specific days. If your plans change and you need to swap tickets last minute, I’m sure we can accommodate that no problem. We just need your best guess at this point of what day(s) you plan on using those four tickets for. If you could please send me an e-mail with your name, your child’s name and the day(s) listed, that would be great. The tickets will be distributed during practice once they come in. Thank you very much. Janice Cherry Hi, Parents:
The show is looking great, but we need some help.
Thanks for you attention to this. |
