Congratulations,
We have made it to tech week, and we are looking good. Many elements are coming together this week to include lighting, costumes, sets, props, audio, etc. Per the schedule, please plan on staying until 7pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. With costumes and getting microphones, we most likely will not be running the show until about 4:30pm each day. The show is approximately 90-minutes without stopping (and we will be stopping to fix transitions, clean-up numbers, etc.) - - so we will not be finished running the show until6:30pm at the earliest. Then everyone will need to carefully put away costumes and props, reset the stage/Dr. Robert's stage space and clean-up. So 7pm is the out time. Thanks. Please read on for more important information. On Thursday, as a reminder, all cast and crew will stay afterschool. We will work any trouble areas, numbers and set the stage. A light cast and crew dinner will be provided around5pm. Then students will get into costumes and make-up for our 7pm Opening Night Curtain! On Friday, students should go home on their bus, but return by 5pm. 5pm is their call time. If actors can do any of their hair and make-up at home, that would be great - - especially the hair. Just a reminder to shower and wash that hair everyday so we look and smell our best! If it will be problematic for students to return to school on Friday by 5pm, please consider carpooling or let me know and we can work something out. Thank you. Call time for Saturday is at 5pm. Call time for Sunday is at 2pm. I also need to stage the curtain call. We most likely will do that on Tuesday. We will be singing the 2nd half of Think Positive during the curtain call encore. So give that song a review. In terms of make-up: We have the Oompa make-up. If you are playing a role other than an Oompa Loompa, you should provide your own eye-liner pencil, mascara and lipstick. If you have base foundation and blush, please bring that as well. You should keep your make-up in a small bag with your name on it. Wig caps: For the Oompa Loompas, especially those with longer hair, you may want to purchase a wig cap or pulling you hair up into a tight bun that may need to be pinned down. Wig caps can be purchased at Party City. Thank you all, Mr. Todd

Hi!
There is a NEED FOR PARENTS AT REHEARSALS. These next two weeks are crucial, and we need your HELP! We need at least two parents at each rehearsal as we now need to be present in the room and backstage. I will cover backstage as I am also involved with the props, but we need parents to step up and help at every rehearsal to maintain quiet in the room and make sure students are not wandering the hallways. Please let me or Steph know if we can count on you one (or more) of these days (if you cannot make it at 3:15pm, arriving around 4pm or so would still be huge help) Wed, Feb 18th 3:15 – 6:00pm Th, Feb 19th 3:15 – 6:00pm Fri, Feb 20th 3:15 – 6:00pm Sat, Feb 21st 10am-1pm Mon, Feb 23rd 3:15 – 7:00pm Tue, Feb 24Th 3:15 – 7:00pm Wed. Feb 25th3:15 – 7:00pm Thank you for any help you can provide. Edwige Griffith Okay, cast, crew and parents,
This is our final push to a dynamite show. We have very busy weeks this week and next, but it will be awesome! All weekday rehearsals will go until 6pm at the earliest, and then we need help cleaning up, resetting items, etc. Here is the run-down.
We will be serving dinner to the cast, crew, and adults involved with Willy Wonka on opening night, Thursday, February 26.
Please go to the following link to sign up for items or to assist in setup and serving: http://vols.pt/vbUvTK Thank you! Please see attached and below. This will hopefully help you think through the show and help the stage crew and actors realize what sets and props need to come on and off stage.
